VTA's been providing Light Rail service to major events at Levi's Stadium since the venue opened in 2014, including 49ers games and concerts. Transit agencies commonly promote their services for stadium events to reduce traffic congestion and demonstrate public transportation's value, according to industry standards. The approach mirrors what transit systems in Denver and Minneapolis do for their stadium venues. Officials said the Light Rail offers a convenient alternative to driving and parking near the stadium.

The transit agency published trip planning information on its blog to help fans navigate the system for both concert dates. Officials encouraged riders to check schedules and plan their trips in advance but didn't provide specific line numbers or frequencies for stadium service.
