NJ TRANSIT Adds Service for FIFA Club World Cup
Soccer fans heading to MetLife Stadium for FIFA Club World Cup matches can take trains and buses directly to games. NJ TRANSIT will operate special rail and bus service for nine tournament matches between June and July, officials announced Tuesday. The BetMGM Meadowlands Rail Line will run from Secaucus Junction starting 2.5 hours before each kickoff.

Tournament Brings International Soccer to New Jersey
MetLife Stadium will host eight FIFA Club World Cup games in June 2025 and the tournament final on July 13, according to the transit agency. The expanded 32-team Club World Cup marks the first time the tournament will be held in its new format across multiple U.S. cities. Daniel Corbett, Interim President and Chief Executive Officer, said NJ TRANSIT is proud to support the event with convenient and sustainable transportation options for fans.
Rail and Bus Routes Serve Stadium
The BetMGM Meadowlands Rail Line will operate trains until 90 minutes after each match ends, officials said. Bus routes 351 and 703 will also provide service to the stadium for all nine games. The rail line runs directly from Secaucus Junction, where fans can connect from most NJ TRANSIT rail lines. Officials didn't specify exact train frequencies or the number of buses that'll operate for each match.

Service Mirrors Past Stadium Events
The special event service follows NJ TRANSIT's standard approach for major MetLife Stadium events, which the agency has provided since the BetMGM Meadowlands Rail Line opened in 2014. Games are scheduled for June 14, 15, 18, 19, 22, and 25, with two matches on some dates at noon, 3 p.m., and 6 p.m. kickoffs. The tournament final takes place July 13 at 3 p.m. Officials said they'll release detailed schedules closer to each game date.
Fans Can Plan Transit Trips
Riders should expect larger crowds than typical stadium events given the international nature of the tournament, though officials didn't provide ridership projections. Standard NJ TRANSIT fares will apply, but specific pricing wasn't detailed in the announcement.
