Miami-Dade Transit will boost Metrorail service for Inter Miami CF home games at Nu Stadium at Miami Freedom Park, starting with the team's inaugural game Saturday, April 4. The Orange Line will run every 15 minutes throughout game days, while Green Line service increases to 15-minute intervals after 5 p.m. between Palmetto and Earlington Heights stations. The Miami Intermodal Center at Miami International Airport sits just a 10-minute walk from the stadium, making it the most convenient transit access point.
Transit Access Supports New Stadium Opening
The service enhancements support the opening of Nu Stadium at Miami Freedom Park, Inter Miami CF's new home venue. Miami-Dade Transit officials said the increased frequency aims to accommodate soccer fans traveling to matches throughout the season. The Miami Intermodal Center station is located approximately half a mile from the stadium entrance. Inter Miami ambassadors will be stationed along the designated walking route to guide fans from the transit station to the venue on game days.
Multiple Transit Options Available
Eight Metrobus routes serve the Miami International Airport station, providing connections from across Miami-Dade County. Routes 7, 20, 36, 37, 42, 57, 150, and 338 all stop at the station. ADA shuttle service will operate from the Miami Trolley Stop at the Intermodal Center directly to Nu Stadium on game days. Special Transit Services offers door-to-door transportation for registered special needs guests at $3.50 per person per trip, officials said.
Fares and Payment Options
Standard Metrorail fares are $2.25 per individual ride, $5.65 for a 1-Day Pass, and $29.25 for a 7-Day Pass. Riders can pay using EASY Cards, contactless payments, or Ticket Vending Machines at stations. The GO Miami-Dade Transit app allows passengers to purchase mobile passes, plan trips, and track services in real-time. Officials didn't specify whether special game-day fares or promotions will be offered for Inter Miami matches.

Soccer fans should plan to arrive early on game days to account for increased ridership and the 10-minute walk from the Intermodal Center to the stadium. Transit officials said the enhanced service will operate for all Inter Miami CF home games throughout the season. Riders can check real-time train arrivals and service updates through Moovit, which provides live transit information for Miami-Dade's Metrorail and Metrobus systems.
