The county regulates for-hire limousines countywide under Chapter 31, Article VI of the County Code, requiring all entities providing limousine service to have a for-hire license and each vehicle to have an operating permit.

Applications can be submitted Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., at the Department of Transportation and Public Works office located at 601 NW 1st Court, 18th Floor, Miami. Walk-in applications will be accepted with same-day decal issuance available for applications meeting all requirements, officials said.
