LA Metro Offers Free Dodger Stadium Express
Metro offers free buses to all 2026 Dodgers home games from Union Station and South Bay
LA Metro Adds Free Dodger Stadium Express for 2026
Dodgers fans can ride free buses to every home game this season, starting Monday with exhibition games against the Angels. Metro's Dodger Stadium Express returns for the 2026 season with service to all games including Opening Day on Thursday, March 26, when the team begins its quest for a third consecutive championship against the Arizona Diamondbacks. The free service helps riders avoid parking fees that start at $40 per game.

Service Runs Through Playoffs and World Series
The free bus service will operate throughout the entire 2026 season, including regular season games, playoffs, and the World Series if the Dodgers advance. Riders need a game ticket to use the service, which provides a traffic-free alternative to driving to Chavez Ravine. Metro has operated the Dodger Stadium Express for multiple seasons, making it a familiar option for fans who want to avoid congestion around the stadium on game days.
Two Routes Serve Different Parts of LA
The Union Station route operates from Union Station West with buses running every 5-10 minutes starting three hours before game time through the end of the 2nd inning. The South Bay route serves five stations—Slauson, Manchester, Harbor Freeway, Rosecrans, and Harbor Gateway Transit Center—with buses running every 30 minutes. Return service from the stadium begins after the 7th inning, with the last bus departing one hour after the final out or 30 minutes after post-game events. One notable change from last season is that buses won't stop at the old Top Deck location in 2026.

Service Begins Monday for Exhibition Games
The Dodger Stadium Express launches this Monday, March 24, for exhibition games before the regular season opener on Thursday, March 26. While the express bus is free, regular Metro fares of $1.75 one-way or $3.50 round-trip apply for other Metro buses and trains used to reach the Dodger Stadium Express stops. Parking is available at Union Station for $8 daily and free at most South Bay stations, though spaces fill quickly for popular games.
Free Alternative to Stadium Parking
The service provides significant savings compared to stadium parking, which starts at $40 per game this season. Fans with game tickets can board at either Union Station West or one of five South Bay stations, making the service accessible from different parts of the metro area. Moovit provides real-time bus tracking and trip planning for Metro routes connecting to Dodger Stadium Express stops, helping riders coordinate their journey to the game.
