Boston World Cup Bus Service Launches at $95
Round-trip bus service to World Cup matches at Gillette Stadium costs $95 from Boston
Boston World Cup Bus Tickets Cost $95 Round-Trip
Fans heading to 2026 FIFA World Cup matches at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro will pay $95 for round-trip bus service from Greater Boston, officials announced Tuesday. The Boston Stadium Express, operated by Yankee Line, went on sale April 14 and offers pickup at more than 20 hotels, Logan Airport, and Rhode Island Convention Center. The service can transport up to 10,000 fans for each of the seven matches scheduled in Foxboro.

Bus Service Costs More Than MBTA Train Option
The $95 bus fare exceeds the MBTA's special train service priced at $80 for round-trip tickets to World Cup matches. Transit officials said the bus service provides more pickup locations across the region, including Providence, to accommodate fans staying at various hotels. The Boston Host Committee is encouraging fans to use public transportation to reduce congestion on match days. All tickets must be purchased in advance online, with no walk-up sales available.
Parking Severely Limited at Gillette Stadium
Parking at Gillette Stadium will be drastically reduced for World Cup matches, with only 5,000 spots available compared to the usual 20,000 for Patriots games. The cheapest parking pass starts at $175, officials said. Tailgating will be banned in the parking lots around Gillette Stadium for World Cup matches, a departure from typical game-day traditions. The limited parking and high costs have raised concerns about accessibility and affordability for families and lower-income attendees.

First Match Scheduled for June 13
The first World Cup match at Gillette Stadium is scheduled for June 13, 2026, featuring Haiti vs. Scotland. Six additional matches will follow at the Foxboro venue throughout the tournament. Officials haven't released detailed schedules for bus departures, but the service is designed to coordinate with match times and provide timely returns to pickup locations.
Transit Options Aim to Ease Stadium Access
The combination of bus and train services aims to provide alternatives for fans facing limited parking options at the stadium. With capacity for 10,000 riders per match on the bus service alone, transit officials expect significant numbers of attendees will rely on public transportation.
